Have you ever toyed with the idea of writing a story or two? Maybe you’ve lived
an interesting life, maybe you’re a storyteller at heart, maybe you just love the
thought of putting pen to paper and letting your imagination fly! If any part of this
sounds intriguing, this might be the class for you. Over a period of three weeks you
will hear how I, a formed science teacher and intuitive healer, learned how to tap
into my creative self and found the confidence to write my recently published
memoir, “When My Mother was a Mountain.” Join me as I show you how to quiet
your logical mind and slip into your creative center so you can access the artistic
parts of you. Each of us has unique, creative abilities as well as varying degrees of
confidence and experience. As a teacher for over forty years I have learned how to
create a supportive and stimulating class environment. This “hands-on” class is for
all ability levels and it will be loaded with surprises. Our focus will be on the
basics of the “story” and not grammar/style. Come with a large notebook and pen
and be ready to explore areas of your creativity you never imagined.

Women’s Forest Retreat

For the past six summers, a friend and I have enjoyed what we like to call a “mini weekend retreat” at Forest Circles. The intention has been to get away from life’s daily stressors, demands and chaos and enjoy a simpler, introspective and natural experience. This personalized time has come to include tenting, exploring the magical forest and sensing the energy and spirit it has to offer, as well as spending some time working with Regina and her intuitive and insightful skills. Regina has a thoughtful way of getting one to take a look at oneself and apply that insight toward self-realization. Without spoiling things with too many specifics, I will say that I have had some truly eye-opening, magical and unexpected experiences at Forest Circles and have come away enlightened, rested and with wider perspectives. Regina provides a number of opportunities and offerings that are tailored to create one’s own desired or needed experiences at Forest Circles. I will eagerly continue to plan future getaways, and I look forward to my time with Regina and her welcoming and enchanted forest.

Women Writers Group

Date: Twice Monthly (Ongoing)

Time: Typically Thursdays 6 – 8 p.m.

Location: Harriet Beecher Stowe House, Brunswick, Maine

Regina joins artist Cathi Belcher in co-hosting a women’s writing circle at the Harriet Beecher Stowe House in Brunswick, ME. This is such a wonderful opportunity to create and craft our stories, which need to be told. Consider being part of our nurturing and encouraging women’s writing circles, and invite other women writers (or would-be writers) to join us. No experience necessary. It’s a warm, welcoming and safe environment to find your writers voice … and strengthen it. You needn’t commit to every month … just drop in to write and share your writing when you are able! Healing Arts Fall Equinox Fair

Regina will participate in the “Meet Your Favorite Authors Day” at the Spiritualist Church of Eternal Life.

Topsham Library Book Talk

Date: November 5

Time: 3 – 4 p.m.

Location: Topsham Public Library, Topsham, Maine

Regina will give a book talk telling about her memoir, “When My Mother was a Mountain” at the Topsham Public Library.

Regina will share her extraordinary experiences on a month-long solo camping trip in the Black Hills of South Dakota, with only her dog for company. As she connected with herself and the land around her, her life was changed forever. Join us as she shares her unimaginable journey to a new life.

Merrymeeting Holiday Bazaar

Date: November 8

Regina will be doing a book signing at the “Merrymeeting Holiday Bazaar” in Topsham.

Holistic Mystic Fair

Location: Augusta Armory, Augusta, Maine

Regina will be offering medical intuitive and past life readings at this wonderful event. She will have signed copies of her book, “When My Mother was a Mountain” available too.

Admission is $5 and the workshops are free!

Memoir Writing Class For Beginners

Date: December 3, 10, 17

Time: 12 – 1:30 p.m.

Location: Topsham Public Library, Topsham, Maine

This class will focus on just getting down the story!

Learn how to access your stories which you’d like to pen. No writing experience required.

Class size limit is 5.

MAC Holiday Craft Fair

When:
December 5th, 5 – 8 p.m.

December 6th, 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.

Location: Merrymeeting Arts Center, Bowdoinham, Maine
